Description

This package contains those BeID middleware to be used throughout the Belgian cloud-based identity card.

This piece of software is needed by smartcard applications into make the card recognized properly by them.

With this middleware, you can:

• Communicate with secure websites that urge eID authentication
• Sign notes and notes using anyone’s eID
• Using the viewer, encounter her identity data on eID invitations, verify their validity, on top of store them for future usage
• Using the provided API, do all of the above inside custom applications of your own.

Notes

• This package only contains the middleware, if they want to be enabled to use your browser to verify your identity online or sign every guide in conjunction with an app, the given indisputably requires dedicated software. If you just want to be able onto read and check data from your card or minimally change your PIN code, you can also install the official viewer.
